Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shaquille Oneal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Pringle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pringle has chosen some heads are gonna roll as his entrance music. Shaquille Oneal has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shaquille Oneal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Pringle!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oneal gets caught napping as Pringle dives in and scores a takedown. Oneal manages to retain guard.
Pringle looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Pringle is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Oneal knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pringle on the ground.
Pringle with a flurry of punches that miss.
Pringle seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pringle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oneal swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Oneal bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pringle's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Oneal in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Eddie Pringle was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Oneal throws a head kick that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Oneal closes the distance and pushes Pringle back into the cage.
Oneal misses with the head strike.
Oneal wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Oneal pushes Pringle back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Oneal misses with a body punch.
Oneal swings wildly with an uppercut but Pringle uses good head movement to avoid it.
Oneal tries to circle away but Pringle has him pinned against the cage.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Pringle as Oneal tries to tie him up.
Maybe Oneal would be better served going for some more strikes rather than trying to control so much.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pringle prevents Oneal from breaking the clinch.
Pringle blocks an uppercut.
Oneal gets underhooks to prevent Pringle's takedown attempt.
Oneal gets through Pringle's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Oneal tries to break the clinch but Pringle is controlling the position.
Oneal struggles to land a body shot inside as Pringle controls his hands.
Oneal misses with a punch on the inside.
A head punch on the inside from Oneal fails to land.
Oneal throws a head punch that misses.
A frustrated look appears on Oneal's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Pringle tries to land knees in the clinch but Oneal avoids the damage to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Oneal misses with a hook from the clinch.
Oneal misses with a punch to the body.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Oneal throws a punch but it's blocked by Pringle.
Oneal can't break the clinch.
Pringle blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Oneal misses with a punch on the inside.

Oneal escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Oneal moves into the clinch successfully.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Oneal tries a body shot but Pringle blocks it.
Oneal looking to slow down the pace here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Oneal has had enough of the clinch but Pringle keeps him there for the moment.
Pringle has Oneal pressed against the cage, preventing Oneal from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Oneal lands a hook to the side of the head.
Oneal misses with the head strike.
Oneal working aggressively here.
A frustrated look appears on Oneal's face as he tries to break the clinch.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Oneal lands a left hand that snaps the head of Pringle backwards.
Oneal swings away with an uppercut that misses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Oneal is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Pringle is keeping busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shaquille Oneal dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Pringle leaves his chin hanging out and Oneal seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Pringle crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shaquille Oneal!
Our winner, Shaquille Oneal, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
