Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Larry Corncobb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Jiminez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Columbo Gatti and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jiminez shoots in looking for a takedown but Corncobb manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jiminez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Corncobb misses with a wild combination.
Corncobb throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

and Corncobb counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Jiminez moves in looking to clinch but Corncobb pushes him off.

and Jiminez counters with a shoot takedown. Corncobb fights it but they end up in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jiminez crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Corncobb - the referee stops the clock and Jiminez gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Corncobb. Jiminez manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Corncobb steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Jiminez is out on his feet! Corncobb sets himself and nearly takes Jiminez's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
