Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mauri Ruoska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joshua Heines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruoska's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sympathy for the Devil. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Joshua Heines was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mauri Ruoska!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joshua Heines!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruoska works the jab nicely.
Ruoska misses with a right hand
and Heines connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ruoska thuds his right hand into Heines's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Ruoska misses with a hook.
Heines connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ruoska momentarily.
Heines uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ruoska.
Ruoska dives in and grabs Heines's left leg, looking for a takedown. Heines pushes down on Ruoska's head and hops out.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ruoska takes one to the chin there.
Heines wants to clinch.
Heines waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ruoska.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ruoska takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Heines feints and then cracks Ruoska's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ruoska down.
Ruoska swings for the body but Heines moves out of range.
Ruoska moves away from the strike by Heines.
Heines scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ruoska doesn't seem bothered though.
Ruoska fails with a takedown attempt.
The crowd cheers as Heines lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ruoska doesn't seem phased though.
Ruoska is rocked!
It looks like Mauri Ruoska has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Heines thows a body shot but no joy.
Heines connects with the punch.
Oh Ruoska is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Heines cracks Ruoska with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joshua Heines!
