The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Liddell wants to clinch but Dickson slips to the side
and Dickson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Dickson stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Liddell moves to clinch but Dickson breaks away
and Dickson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Liddell throws a knee to the head but misses.
Liddell creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Liddell keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dickson's efforts to push away.

Dickson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Liddell closes the distance but Dickson moves to the side
and Dickson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Dickson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

and Dickson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Liddell pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Liddell tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

and Dickson counters with a three punch combo that has Liddell backing up. Liddell nods at Dickson to acknowledge the strikes.
Dickson digs a good body shot into Liddell's ribs.
Liddell is breathing heavily.

Dickson shoots in and bounces Liddell off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Liddell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dickson on the ground.
Dickson works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Dickson seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Liddell is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
