Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Vladimir Khabensky and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Mindzatti counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jacobson won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mindzatti stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Mindzatti shoots in and bounces Jacobson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Mindzatti's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Mindzatti gets to his feet. Jacobson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

and Mindzatti counters with a shoot takedown. Jacobson fights it but they end up in guard.
Mindzatti seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
