The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovacevic blocks a head kick by Rogers.
Rogers throws a lazy head kick
and Kovacevic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rogers tries to clinch up.
Rogers wants to clinch but Kovacevic slips to the side
and Kovacevic counters with a straight right hand.
Rogers doesn't manage to clinch there - Kovacevic circles away.
Kovacevic looks to score with a jab to the body but Rogers is just out of range.
Rogers throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rogers lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Kovacevic can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Rogers and Kovacevic drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Rogers.
