The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joaninho misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mira ducks under a wild hook from Joaninho.

Joaninho swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Mira.

Mira throws a right hand that Joaninho ducks under and follows up with a left that Joaninho also avoids with ease.
Joaninho works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Joaninho tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mira was well out of range. Poor timing from Joaninho.
Joaninho just misses with a punch to the body.
Mira steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Joaninho.
Mira moves out of range as Joaninho strikes.

Mira moves forwards but Joaninho connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Mira swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Joaninho makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Mira looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Joaninho batters Mira with a massive right followed by a huge left! Mira is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Joaninho lands a final crushing right hand to drop Mira to the mat with a gruesome thud! Joaninho is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Moji Joaninho!
