The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tokill fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Blachowicz to the ground. Tokill is now in Blachowicz's guard.
Blachowicz is looking to stand up but Tokill isn't so interested in that idea.
Tokill is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Tokill controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Let's hope that Tokill has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blachowicz pushes Tokill off looking to stand but Tokill dives back in and keeps control.

Ivan Tokill has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Tokill shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tokill looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Blachowicz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
