Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hoso Alvy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shawn Knight will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight scores with a three punch combo!

Knight gets caught flat footed, as Alvy shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Knight is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Alvy defends well.
Alvy is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Knight is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Alvy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Knight can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
