Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Temille (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arturo Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Temille's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Blazin. Rivera has chosen Do You Call My Name by Ra as his entrance music. The key to victory for Joseph Temille has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Temille scores with a takedown into Rivera's guard.

Rivera had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Temille is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rivera Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Temille's back instead.

Temille is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Rivera doesn't have the hooks in and Temille manages to turn into his guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Temille knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rivera on the ground.
Temille pulls Rivera in close to prevent any damage.

Rivera escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Temille gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A close round but Arturo Rivera will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

No joy there for Temille, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Rivera has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Temille is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Rivera.

Temille tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Temille has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd cheers as Temille lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rivera doesn't seem phased though.

Temille has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Rivera uses from the top position.
