Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marc Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Green Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Man tries to close the distance and clinch up but Knight swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Knight closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Knight lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Man trying to keep a closed guard but Knight is proving a slippery customer.
Knight seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Knight postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Knight trying to control the position from guard on top but Man is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Knight is stalling in the full guard.
Knight seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Man for as long as he can get away with.

Man is looking for a triangle but Knight pushes his legs off easily.

Knight slips nicely into half guard.

Knight is taking a breather. Man says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Man works his way to full guard. Good work.
Knight tries to free his leg and advance position but Man is retaining full guard.
Knight trying to control the position from guard on top but Man is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Knight not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Man is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Knight is trying to get back to full guard.

Man wants to take a breather but Knight is having none of it.

Knight tries to get to full guard but Man has control of the leg.
Knight slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Man stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Knight swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Knight is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Man trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Man is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Knight has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Man is looking to defend but Knight has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Man! Knight pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Man taps out and this one is all over!
