The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guti looks to land a combination but Sullivan avoids it well.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Sullivan has eaten all the pies!
Sullivan tries to clinch there but Guti circles away.
Guti throws a right and a left that Sullivan avoids nicely.
Guti looks to land a combination but Sullivan avoids it well.

Sullivan shoots in and bounces Guti off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Guti had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sullivan is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Guti Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sullivan's back instead.
