The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Freeman.

Henderson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Freeman was covering up waiting for the punch and Henderson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Henderson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Henderson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Freeman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Henderson slips nicely into half guard.
Henderson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Henderson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Freeman with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Henderson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Freeman's head.
Freeman is breathing heavily.
Henderson passes the guard and advances to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Henderson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Oh Freeman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Oooh a big shot lands for Henderson! Freeman is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
