PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mansur Abdel Salam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caiaphas Caine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abdel Salam comes to the cage accompanied by PRO PAIN - SHINE. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdel Salam misses with a two punch combination.

Caine drives through with a takedown into guard.

Caine is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Caine has hold of Abdel Salam's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Abdel Salam manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Caine has control of Abdel Salam's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Abdel Salam regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Abdel Salam has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Abdel Salam is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Caine gets his way!
Well, with Caine on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Abdel Salam is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Caine has hold of Abdel Salam's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Abdel Salam seems comfortable defending it but Caine has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Abdel Salam is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Abdel Salam is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Caine couldn't care less - he's delighted!
