Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Arnold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mauricio Rua looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mauricio Rua!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arnold shoots in for a takedown but Rua shows good takedown defense.
Arnold shoots in and drives through. Rua sprawls well.
Arnold shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rua pinned against the cage. Rua gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brad Arnold. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Arnold bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Arnold lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Arnold closes the distance and pushes Rua back into the cage.
Arnold has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Rua uses from the top position.
Rua is fighting to break Arnold's control of his arms but Arnold is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Arnold is looking to sinch up a triangle. Rua throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Arnold's body to avoid the submission. Arnold has instead reached around Rua's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Arnold arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
