The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mosaddegh moves into the clinch successfully.
A bit of stalling here from Pharaoh.

Mosaddegh goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Pharaoh manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Mosaddegh with a flurry of punches that miss.

Pharaoh is looking for a triangle but Mosaddegh pushes his legs off easily.

Pharaoh looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Mosaddegh passes into half guard.
Pharaoh is looking for a sweep. Mosaddegh is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Pharaoh tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pharaoh makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Mosaddegh takes a swing at Pharaoh's ribcage but misses.
Mosaddegh blocks a head kick by Pharaoh.
Pharaoh is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pharaoh throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Mosaddegh's head.
Pharaoh misses with a few strikes there.
Pharaoh doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Mosaddegh counters with a nice uppercut.
Mosaddegh keeps the fight on the outside.
Mosaddegh leaves Pharaoh with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Pharaoh wants to clinch
and Mosaddegh counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Pharaoh shoots and misses

Mohsen Mosaddegh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Pharaoh.

A left lands for Mosaddegh.

Pharaoh throws a sloppy head kick and Mosaddegh moves out of range easily.
Pharaoh moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Pharaoh shoots for a double leg takedown but Mosaddegh sprawls well. He's pushed Pharaoh's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pharaoh looks gassed!

Pharaoh rushes Mosaddegh and presses him up against the cage.
Mosaddegh digs a right hand into Pharaoh's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Pharaoh's gas tank.
Mosaddegh lands a hook that snaps the head of Pharaoh backwards.
Pharaoh swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Mosaddegh lands with a left to the head.
Pharaoh tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mosaddegh just stands there and leans against the cage.

Pharaoh breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pharaoh blocks a low kick nicely.
Mosaddegh bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pharaoh's head.

Pharaoh is rocked!
Mosaddegh cracks Pharaoh with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Pharaoh tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Mosaddegh pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Pharaoh is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mohsen Mosaddegh!
