Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Mitrione Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pvt. Claude Dillingham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Claude Dillingham. Chooooooooon! I think Mitrione Jr might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lynyrd Skynyrd Simple Man. Matt Mitrione Jr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Dillingham looking to score a takedown here. Mitrione Jr is defending well but Dillingham drives through and ends up in Mitrione Jr's guard.
Mitrione Jr manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dillingham manages to get himself to full guard.

Dillingham got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mitrione Jr has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dillingham has managed to get both his arms back between Mitrione Jr's legs - danger averted.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dillingham accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mitrione Jr wants to sweep here but Dillingham controlling him for the moment.

Mitrione Jr tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dillingham wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Mitrione Jr takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mitrione Jr takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Mitrione Jr is trying to get back to his feet.

Mitrione Jr pushes Dillingham away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dillingham gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Dillingham looks up at the clock and then as Mitrione Jr takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Dillingham smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Dillingham wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mitrione Jr keeps working.

Dillingham stops Mitrione Jr from getting back to his feet.
Dillingham is keen to just control but Mitrione Jr is a slippery customer.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dillingham connects with a nice short shot to Mitrione Jr's temple.
