Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mak Mokowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ste McGhee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ste McGhee is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McGhee shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mokowski's guard.
Mokowski looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

McGhee thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mokowski wants to stand and escape but McGhee is having none of it.
McGhee has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Mokowski is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

McGhee drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McGhee jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

McGhee slips a nice elbow through Mokowski's hands, connecting with Mokowski's forehead.

McGhee is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Mokowski is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
