Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gomer Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jacobs might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christopher Jackson!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson tries to clinch up but Jacobs circles away and keeps his distance.

Jackson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jacobs tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jackson is in Jacobs's guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Jacobs looking for a guillotine here but Jackson defends easily.
Jacobs is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Jackson wants to pass the guard but Jacobs is keeping the position.
Jackson passes into half guard.
Jacobs throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Jacobs might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Jackson seems to be working for a kimura but Jacobs defends the submission attempt.

Jackson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jackson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters are battling for position here. Jacobs manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Jacobs is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jackson defends well.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jackson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jacobs manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jackson has Jacobs in his guard.

Jacobs got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jackson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jacobs has managed to get both his arms back between Jackson's legs - danger averted.

Jackson looking for a guillotine here but Jacobs defends easily.

Jacobs drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackson manages to kick Jacobs off! Jacobs jumps back into Jackson's guard.

Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jacobs gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jackson looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Jackson looks gassed!

Jacobs in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Jackson tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Jacobs!
