The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takamura fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Takamura throws a sloppy strike and LightBear uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and LightBear has ended up in Takamura's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

LightBear creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Takamura sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

LightBear is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Takamura knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
LightBear will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
