The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fatu sprawls well. Fatu wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Fatu looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fatu's waist but Fatu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.

Silva closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Silva maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Fatu could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Silva has cracked it and Fatu is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Silva!
