Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duncan MacFist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregg Baby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baby avoids a kick to the body.
MacFist buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

MacFist sends Baby crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! MacFist is motioning to the referee to let Baby up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Gregg Baby has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

MacFist gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
MacFist wants to get back to his feet but Baby is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Baby not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Gregg Baby wasn't active enough on the ground.
MacFist bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

MacFist darts in and clinches Baby up against the cage.
MacFist tries to land knees in the clinch but Baby avoids the damage to the body.

Baby pulls guard successfully.
Baby controls MacFist momentarily but MacFist frees himself.
Baby looking to control but MacFist passes into half guard.
MacFist knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Baby on the ground.
Baby is trying to control but can't.

MacFist is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Baby regains full guard. Nicely done.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
MacFist stands up and waves to Baby to follow him.

MacFist ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Baby moves away.
Baby tries to clinch but MacFist is having none of it.

That kick from MacFist tenderised Baby's leg. Baby is trying to keep his angry face on.
