Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyle Kingston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Dave Batista!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kingston closes the distance and clinches.
Batista is looking for a takedown.
Batista is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kingston to keep the fight standing.
Kingston lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Kingston lands a right hand that snaps the head of Batista backwards.
Batista wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Batista is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Kyle Kingston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Batista.
Kingston lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Kingston breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

The referee calls for Kingston to work.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Kingston.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kingston takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Kingston lands a shoulder strike.
Batista is trying to break free.
Kingston lands a hook that snaps the head of Batista backwards.
Kingston lands a hook that snaps the head of Batista backwards.
Kingston scores with a nice hook to the head.
Batista has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Kingston escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kingston tries to clinch up but Batista circles away and keeps his distance.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Batista has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kingston avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kingston stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Batista jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kingston walks away with a smile on his face. Batista gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Kyle Kingston is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kingston clinches.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kingston lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Kingston pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Kingston moves into the clinch.
Batista has Kingston pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kingston manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Batista wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nice body punch from Kingston - that landed with a thud.

Kingston pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kingston tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Batista paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kingston tries to clinch but Batista moves out of range.

Kingston has closed the distance and engaged Batista in a clinch.
Kingston stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
A head punch on the inside from Batista fails to land.
Batista drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kingston pulls his leg out and moves away.

Kingston moves into the clinch successfully.
Batista is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kingston gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
A nice right hand lands inside from Kingston.
Batista takes a shot to the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kingston prevents a takedown attempt there.
A bit of stalling here from Kingston.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Batista jumps guard but Kingston stands there with Batista around his waist. Batista gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kingston lands a shoulder strike.

Kingston breaks from the clinch.
Kingston fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kingston swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
No luck for Batista with that takedown attempt.

Kingston drives through and clinches with Batista against the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Batista fails to pull guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kyle Kingston dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Kingston moves into the clinch.
Kingston working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Kingston scores with a shoulder strike.
Kingston keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Batista's efforts to push away.
Kingston makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Batista is trying to stall.
Kingston lands with a right to the head.
Kingston prevents Batista from breaking the clinch.
Kingston scores with a nice hook to the head.

Kingston drops Batista onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Batista is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!


Batista is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Kingston.
Batista is still on wobbly legs! Can Kingston finish him?
Kingston is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Batista can do to turn this around?
Batista is breathing heavily.
Kingston unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Batista! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Kingston is unloading with more strikes now! Batista drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kyle Kingston!
Kyle Kingston decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
