Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Eder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shunsuke Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eder comes to the ring accompanied by You're the best around. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyle Eder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shunsuke Nakamura!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Eder. Nakamura does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nakamura moves in looking to clinch but Eder pushes him off.
Eder throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nakamura sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Nakamura is trying to drag Eder to the mat but Eder just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Shunsuke Nakamura hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Eder clobbers Nakamura with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Nakamura stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Eder.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kyle Eder.
I think Eder has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
