Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ruiner Barnett!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beauford misses with a takedown attempt - Barnett sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Barnett lands with a hook. Beauford tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Beauford takes one to the side of the head.

Beauford shoots in and bounces Barnett off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Barnett has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Beauford can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Beauford got a little sloppy there for a moment and Barnett has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Beauford has managed to get both his arms back between Barnett's legs - danger averted.
Beauford tries to free his leg and advance position but Barnett is retaining full guard.

Beauford stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barnett swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Barnett is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ruiner Barnett was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Beauford fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Barnett sprawls well initially but Beauford persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Beauford is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Carter Beauford will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Beauford shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Barnett darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Barnett finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Beauford throws a body punch but Barnett moves out of range.
Beauford gets cracked there but stands up to it.

and Barnett counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Beauford throws out a loose jab but Barnett uses good head movement to avoid it.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Barnett cracks a nice hook into Beauford's ribs.
Barnett lunges at Beauford with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Beauford's hand.

Barnett moves into range and connects with a jab.

Beauford is rocked!
Barnett throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Barnett lands a slapping body shot.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd cheers as Barnett lands an impressive looking overhand right. Beauford doesn't seem phased though.
Oh Beauford is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barnett steps in with a hook that catches Beauford right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Barnett follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Beauford looks absolutely devastated.
