Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xiomar Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Donovan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Halo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kanye West - Jesus Walks. Michael Donovan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Halo tenderised Donovan's leg. Donovan is trying to keep his angry face on.
Donovan walks into a stiff left hand from Halo.
Halo lands with an overhand left.
Donovan misses with a wild combination.
Halo connects with a body shot that sends Donovan's belly button to the back.
Halo scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Donovan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Halo throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Michael Donovan has been cut.
Halo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Donovan.
Halo lands with an overhand left.
Donovan takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Donovan looks gassed!
Halo throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
A nice leg kick lands there from Halo.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Halo! Donovan is out on his feet! Halo rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Donovan is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Donovan is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Xiomar Halo!
After the fight, Xiomar Halo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
