The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taktarov shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Taktarov stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Boru shoots in for a takedown but Taktarov shows good takedown defense.
Boru rushes Taktarov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Boru lands with a left to the head.
Boru has clasped his hands together around Taktarov's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Boru should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Taktarov is looking to regain half guard here but Boru keeps moving and retains side control.
Taktarov is trying to control Boru's posture but Boru avoids it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Taktarov is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Boru shoots in for a takedown but Taktarov shows good takedown defense.
Boru fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Taktarov sprawls well initially but Boru persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Boru looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Taktarov is pressing down on Boru's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Taktarov is pulling down on Boru's head to control his posture.
Taktarov looking for a triangle here. Boru is fighting it but it looks tight! Taktarov pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Boru is tapping out - this one is all over!
