Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darius Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enzo Machinda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Johnson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to My Time. Machinda has chosen Live Free as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Machinda moves into the clinch.

Machinda's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Johnson looks for a takedown but Machinda sprawls well.
Johnson tries to clinch there but Machinda circles away.

Johnson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Machinda quickly recovers to half guard.
Johnson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Machinda moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Machinda is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Johnson is working Machinda over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Johnson tries to break the clinch but Machinda is controlling the position.

Johnson jumps guard but Machinda turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Machinda escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Machinda tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Machinda sprawls well. Machinda wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet.
Johnson takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Machinda shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johnson pinned against the cage. Johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Machinda changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but Machinda manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Johnson is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Machinda is defending well.

Johnson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Machinda paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Machinda tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Machinda to the ground. Machinda escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Machinda fails with a takedown attempt.
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Machinda throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Machinda off to one side.

Johnson slaps away a takedown attempt from Machinda, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Johnson doesn't manage to clinch there - Machinda circles away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Johnson creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Machinda closes the distance and clinches up with Johnson, looking for a takedown. Machinda pushes Johnson against the cage but Johnson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Machinda has left one of his arms exposed and Johnson doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Machinda screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
