Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wojtek Svalbard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Wrassle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wrassle closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Svalbard on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Svalbard takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Svalbard is looking for a sweep.
Wrassle lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Svalbard down.
Wrassle is chipping away with strikes.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Horrible takedown by Svalbard or perhaps it was just good defense by Wrassle which made him look bad.
Wrassle comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Svalbard wants to clinch.

Wojtek Svalbard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Svalbard looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wrassle shoots in looking for a takedown but Svalbard manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wrassle's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
