Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Craigie Bee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Nelson's choice of entrance music: AFI - Totalimmortal. The key to victory for Craigie Bee has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bee stuffs the takedown.
The fighters circling - Nelson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Bee closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Nelson did well to prevent Bee getting side control.

Bee is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Nelson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Nelson.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nelson tries to pass to full mount but Bee defends it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jimmy Nelson will probably get the nod.
That's time! Bee's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Bee fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Nelson.

Bee shoots in and gets a takedown into Nelson's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bee postures up in Nelson's guard and throws a big left but Nelson blocks it.
Bee connects with a couple of short punches.
Nelson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Bee misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Bee tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bee has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Bee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bee tries to move to mount but Nelson blocks the move with his legs.

Bee goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Nelson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bee but great work by Nelson.

Nelson has an Americana. Bee didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Nelson is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Nelson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
