Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and GE VO (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). VO has chosen RIOT MAKER as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin fails to land the takedown.
A momentary lapse in concentration from VO enables Griffin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. VO manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Griffin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Griffin with a nice head shot there.
VO wants to stand up but Griffin is controlling him.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Griffin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Griffin stops VO from standing up.
Griffin stands up and waves to VO to follow him.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Griffin turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
VO tries to bench press Griffin off him but Griffin keeps the position.
Griffin is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, VO has escaped the position, nice work there.
VO is looking for a sweep.

Griffin working the body and head with strikes.
Griffin landing strikes.
Griffin sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but VO is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
VO tries to escape but Griffin is in control.
VO tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Griffin tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Griffin lands some shots froms side control.
VO sneaks back into half guard.
VO looks gassed!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Griffin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed VO's head.

Griffin not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Griffin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Griffin working over VO with some ground and pound. VO looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Griffin throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Griffin wants to work for an arm triangle but VO is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
