Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cottontail Rabbit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manoel Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rabbit is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Cottontail Rabbit has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 64 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cottontail Rabbit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Manoel Dos Santos!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos clinches up against the cage.
Rabbit is breathing heavily.
Dos Santos lands a takedown into guard.
Rabbit is working an open guard so Dos Santos takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Dos Santos fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rabbit, pushing him back against the cage.
Dos Santos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rabbit takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Dos Santos shoots in and bounces Rabbit off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dos Santos slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dos Santos pushes down on Rabbit's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Dos Santos stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Dos Santos clinches up with Rabbit and pushes him back against the cage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Dos Santos.
Dos Santos scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Dos Santos is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Rabbit can't fight it off and eventually Dos Santos manages to take the fight to the floor. Rabbit looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dos Santos stands and steps away. Rabbit gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dos Santos moves into the clinch successfully.
Dos Santos gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Rabbit regains guard.
Dos Santos stands and throws Rabbit's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Dos Santos remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

Dos Santos happy to just control the position for now.
It looks like Dos Santos might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Dos Santos has hold of Rabbit's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Rabbit seems comfortable defending it but Dos Santos has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Rabbit is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Rabbit is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Dos Santos couldn't care less - he's delighted!
