The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCluster takes a swing at Thomas's ribcage but misses.
Buster McCluster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCluster avoids the head kick by Thomas.
McCluster lands a really nice looking cross but Thomas seems unphased.
McCluster moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Thomas keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McCluster.

McCluster lands a left and a right that send Thomas crashing to the mat, dazed. McCluster thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Doug Thomas has been cut.

A clash of legs there as Thomas blocks the low kick.
Thomas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McCluster ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thomas moves away.

McCluster lands a big right hand that sends Thomas crashing to the mat! McCluster stays standing though and waves Thomas back to his feet!

Thomas is rocked!
BOOM! McCluster lands a beautiful left hook that drops Thomas. Thomas tries to recover but McCluster is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Thomas lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
