The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herring shoots for a double leg takedown but Von Stauffenberg sprawls well. He's pushed Herring's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Herring is looking to land body kicks.

Von Stauffenberg tries to keep at a distance but Herring has taken the fight into the clinch.
