Silva's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Aint no sunshine - DMX. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killa throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Silva tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Killa was well out of range. Poor timing from Silva.
Killa keeps the fight on the outside.
Silva connects with a leg kick. Killa looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Killa lands a head kick. Silva smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Silva throws a leg kick but Killa sees it coming and moves out of range.
Silva scores with a jab. Killa acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Killa takes one on the chin but seems OK.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Killa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Killa goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Silva blocks a head kick by Killa.
Silva closes the distance and clinches.
Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Silva has closed the distance and engaged Killa in a clinch.
Silva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Silva misses with the combination.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Killa on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Killa is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva finish him?
Killa looks gassed!
Silva connects with a nice cross there... Killa is looking wobbly and Silva recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Killa to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Silva jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

An intense looking Anderson Silva took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Senhores, nunca serão, jamais serão. Balco Boys por vida!!!! '.
