Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stalking Spider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akihono Jozamo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Thiago Cunha and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spider throws a series of strikes that have Jozamo backpedaling.

It looks like Akihono Jozamo has been cut.
Spider fails with a takedown attempt.

Jozamo kicks Spider off and gets to his feet.
Spider fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Jozamo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Spider fails with the takedown.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jozamo moves in looking to clinch but Spider pushes him off.
Spider tries to clinch up but Jozamo circles away and keeps his distance.
Spider takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Jozamo throws a nice inside leg kick.
Jozamo throws a right and a left that Spider avoids nicely.

Spider feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Jozamo is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Spider dives into side control.

Spider trying to control the action but Jozamo is working from the bottom.
Spider lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Spider is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Spider is breathing heavily.
Spider thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Jozamo is looking for a sweep. Spider is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Jozamo flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Spider could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Spider is keen to just control but Jozamo is a slippery customer.
Jozamo pushes Spider off looking to stand but Spider dives back in and keeps control.
Jozamo is looking to get back to is feet but Spider passes into side control.
Spider in side control lands a decent elbow.
Check out the look on Spider's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Jozamo wants to clinch

and Spider decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jozamo's guard.

Spider is in close to Jozamo's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Jozamo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Spider is controlling him.
Spider controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Spider forces his way into half guard.
Spider takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Jozamo is looking to improve his position.
Jozamo is trying to stand.
Spider lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Akihono Jozamo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jozamo lands a glancing blow to the side of Spider's head.
Spider wants to clinch.
Spider fails with an attempt to clinch.

Spider shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Jozamo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Spider!
Jozamo tries to control but Spider wriggling away.
Spider slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Spider is looking to control Jozamo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Spider avoid being mounted?
Jozamo is tying to control. Spider wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Spider manages to get to full guard.
Spider looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jozamo is one step ahead there.

Spider has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Jozamo should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Spider has tightened it up now! Jozamo should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
