The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filipovic misses with a series of wild punches.
Filipovic feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mafra's calf.
Filipovic turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Filipovic throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Mafra closes the distance and clinches.
Mafra is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.

Filipovic pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Filipovic scores with a jab. Mafra acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Mafra tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Mafra tries to move into range but Filipovic moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Mafra tries a head kick but it misses.
CroCop Filipovic is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mafra takes a jab right on the kisser.
Mafra on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Filipovic connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Filipovic cracks Mafra with an open hand slap.

Filipovic wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Filipovic scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Filipovic connects with a combination that backs up Mafra into the ropes. Filipovic lands a flurry of punches that gets past Mafra's guard. Mafra is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Filipovic bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
