Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Casey Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slim Shady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slim Shady is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Casey Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Slim Shady!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shady rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Shady shoots for a takedown but Jones saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Shady misses with a few strikes there.
Shady looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Shady closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jones circles away.
Slim Shady seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shady lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jones circles away quickly and effectively.

Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into Shady's guard.

Shady kicks Jones off and gets to his feet.
Shady tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Shady somewhat.
Casey Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Slim Shady.
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shady tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shady to the ground. Shady escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Shady is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Jones is looking to stand up but Shady won't let him.

Jones wants to control from the top but Shady keeps moving.
Jones stops Shady from standing up.
Jones slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Jones works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Casey Jones has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Shady feints a jab promting Jones to slip. Shady then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Jones slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Shady swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Shady misses with a two punch combination.

Shady is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jones's half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jones is looking for a sweep. Shady is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Jones is looking to control Shady's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jones avoid being mounted?

Shady is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jones is just riding it out for now. Shady eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shady is looking for a kimura but Jones is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Shady to get the leverage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jones won't allow Shady to pass to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Slim Shady will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Shady tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Shady which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Casey Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shady throws a combination. Jones tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Shady looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jones dives in and grabs Shady's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shady pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.

Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Shady bucks up and throws Jones to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

Jones is looking to clinch but Shady is avoiding it.
Shady displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jones.
Casey Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Shady's waist but Shady gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jones off to one side.

Shady has hold of Jones's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Jones tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Shady cranks the arm and Jones screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jones, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Slim Shady!
Slim Shady spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
