Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Tub O Lard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Columbo Gatti and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tub O Lard moves in looking to clinch but John pushes him off.
John stalks Tub O Lard and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Tub O Lard's face. Tub O Lard staggers backwards, shaken.
A nice combination there by John.
Tub O Lard shoots in but no luck this time.
John scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
John lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Tub O Lard backs up against the cage.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Tub O Lard.
John looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tub O Lard fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but John avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Big Tub O Lard. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by John!
Tub O Lard wants to clinch.
John scores with a three punch combo!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tub O Lard fails with the takedown.

John scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

John lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
John rushes Tub O Lard and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Tub O Lard keeps control of John as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
John manages to break the clinch.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Tub O Lard. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
John stalks Tub O Lard and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Tub O Lard's face. Tub O Lard staggers backwards, shaken.
John fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A combination from John does no damage.
John misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
John looks gassed!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tub O Lard forces John back against the cage and clinches.
John breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tub O Lard fails to land with a series of punches.

John scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Tub O Lard takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Tub O Lard misses with a takedown attempt - John sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tub O Lard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by John!
A left and a right from John both land. Nice combination.
John lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Daniel John seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
John rushes Tub O Lard and presses him up against the cage.
John breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
John avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
John scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
John is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A nice combination there by John.
John pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Tub O Lard back to the cage. John follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
John feints a jab promting Tub O Lard to slip. John then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Tub O Lard slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Tub O Lard is on the wrong end of a nice combination from John.
John scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Tub O Lard has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
John works over Tub O Lard's head and body with a nice combination.
Tub O Lard tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Left hook, right uppercut from John.
Danga de danga de dang - John scores with a four punch combination!
John scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
John lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tub O Lard down.
Tub O Lard dodges the ground and pound from John.
Tub O Lard gets back to half guard.
John is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
John takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tub O Lard wants to improve his position but John is controlling well.
John tries to stand but can't do so whilst Tub O Lard controls his leg.
Tub O Lard moves into full guard.
Tub O Lard has a closed guard, preventing John from standing up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tub O Lard is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! John has his hands clasped together but Tub O Lard extends an breaks John's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Tub O Lard.
