Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nick Szyslak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Opas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Szyslak comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica-Enter Sandman. Opas has chosen AC/DC - Thunderstruck as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Opas dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Opas lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Opas moves away from the strike by Szyslak.
Opas misses with a straight left.
Szyslak tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Opas is able to avoid easily.
Opas bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A big left from Szyslak misses.
Opas with a nice cross.
Opas lands a high kick!
Opas throws out a loose jab but Szyslak uses good head movement to avoid it.
Opas swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Szyslak tries to clinch up but Opas circles away and keeps his distance.
Opas is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Opas throws an overhand right that lands on Szyslak's shoulder, as Szyslak tries to avoid the shot.

Szyslak lands a nice hook to Opas's body. Opas takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Opas throws a push kick but Szyslak slaps the foot to one side.
Opas misses with an uppercut.
Opas throws a hook to the side of Szyslak's head but Szyslak sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Szyslak goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Opas staying out of range there.
Szyslak throws a hook but Opas blocks it.
A telegraphed right hand from Szyslak misses the target.
Opas missing with a left hand there. Szyslak was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Szyslak dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Opas. That did some damage!
Opas lands a leg kick that knocks Szyslak off balance momentarily.
Szyslak misses with a double jab.
Opas wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Szyslak takes the fight into the clinch.

Opas has Szyslak pressed against the cage, preventing Szyslak from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Opas creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Szyslak is trying to break free.

Szyslak escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Szyslak takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Opas counters with a left and a right that stings Szyslak.
Szyslak looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Szyslak misses with an uppercut. Opas saw that one coming.

and Opas counters with a nice uppercut.

Szyslak is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Opas engages and cracks Szyslak with a massive lead left hook - Szyslak tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Opas is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
