Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Klein East (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ignatius Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). East comes to the cage accompanied by Cold as Ice- M.O.P.. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Klein East!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ignatius Reilly!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, David Schapiro and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reilly connects with a leg kick. East looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
East throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Reilly counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.


It looks like Klein East has been cut.
Reilly uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Reilly lands a head kick. East smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
East avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
East dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Reilly. That did some damage!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from East lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Reilly has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Reilly and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
East fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Reilly on the side of the head.

That was a close second round but I would say that Klein East will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Good leg kick by East there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
East lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Well Reilly has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
