The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gualco throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jones was covering up waiting for the punch and Gualco finishes the takedown easily into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Gualco works over Jones with some ground and pound from guard.
Gualco stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gualco really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Gualco has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Jones to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Gualco is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Jones pulls down on the head and he's put Gualco to sleep! This one is all over!
