Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martelli fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jackson sprawls well initially but Martelli persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Martelli is looking for a kimura here.
Martelli wants to work for an arm triangle but Jackson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Jackson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Martelli tries to pass to full mount but Jackson defends it.
Martelli trying to control the action but Jackson is working from the bottom.

Martelli stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Jackson to get to his feet.
Jackson lunges at Martelli with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Martelli's hand.

Jackson tries to bum rush Martelli with a series of wild strikes but Martelli uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Martelli throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Jackson counters with a series of strikes. Martelli will be more careful next time no doubt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Martelli shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jackson's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jackson has control of Martelli's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Martelli regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Jackson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Martelli is now in Jackson's guard. A big mistake from Jackson there, giving up the dominant position!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Martelli working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

Martelli avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jackson pushes a forearm under Martelli's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Martelli is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
