Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andelko Antun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Happy Day!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Antun.
Antun displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Day throws out the jab.

Antun tries to keep at a distance but Day has taken the fight into the clinch.

Antun breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Antun tries to close the distance and clinch up but Day swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Antun ducks under a wild hook from Day.
Day darts in trying to clinch

and Antun counters by clinching up.
Knees in the clinch landing for Day.
Antun avoiding damage as Day throws knees to the body.
Antun lands a knee to the body.

Antun lands a takedown into guard.
Antun won't allow Day to sweep him here.
Antun has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Day looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Antun puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Day wants to get back to full guard.

Day wants to improve his position but Antun is controlling well.
Still in half guard, Antun seems content to control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Day tries a head kick but it misses.

and Antun counters with a nice kick to the body.
Antun scores with a jab to the head.

Day fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Antun manages to avoid it.
Antun fails with an attempt to clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Antun lands a shoulder strike.

Antun escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Antun drives through and clinches with Day against the cage.
Antun goes for a takedown in the clinch but Day prevents it.
Antun will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Day up against the cage.
Day tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Antun manages to break the clinch.
The fighters circling - Day throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Antun gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Antun connects with a knee to the head.

Antun breaks the clinch.
Day misses with a wild body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Antun tries to clinch there but Day circles away.
Day keeps the fight on the outside.
Antun lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A head kick misses from Antun.
Day with a lazy takedown attempt

and Antun counters with a nice double leg into side control. Day won't be happy with that.
Day is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Day wants to get back to full guard but Antun has mounted him!
Day flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Day keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Antun avoids the attempt from Day to control.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andelko Antun dominated that round.
That's time! Antun's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Day takes a swing at Antun's ribcage but misses.
Antun shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Day but Day pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A nice leg kick lands there from Antun.
Antun misses with a looping right.
Day throws a sloppy head kick
and Antun counters with a three punch combo that has Day backing up. Day nods at Antun to acknowledge the strikes.
Antun looks for a takedown but Day sprawls well.
Whack! Day lands a heavy head kick that drops Antun. The ref tackles Day to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Antun was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Happy Day!
