Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Areli Durga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durga comes to the cage accompanied by Godsmack - Voodoo. Cage is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Johnny Cage Theme. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Durga darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Durga throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Cage swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cage takes a kick to the side of the head.

It looks like Johnny Cage has been cut.
Durga throws a head kick but Cage moves out of range.
Durga lets loose with a powerful body kick. Cage will feel that in the morning.
Cage fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Cage checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Cage throws a nice inside leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Durga throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Durga cracks a nice hook into Cage's ribs.
Durga fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Cage checks it well.
Durga gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Durga misses with an uppercut.
Durga throws a hook but Cage avoids it easily.

Durga throws a right hand that Cage ducks under and follows up with a left that Cage also avoids with ease.

Durga throws a leg kick but Cage sees it coming and moves out of range.
Cage on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Durga stuns Cage with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Cage clinches with his opponent.
Durga throws a knee to the head but misses.
Cage lands an elbow just above Durga 's eye.
Durga with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Cage lands a left hand that snaps the head of Durga backwards.

Durga is breathing heavily.
Cage lands a good knee to the midsection. Durga won't want to take too many of those.

Cage lands a hook that snaps the head of Durga backwards.

Cage manages to break the clinch.
Durga jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cage tries to clinch up but Durga circles away and keeps his distance.

Johnny Cage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cage lands with an uppercut that bounces Durga off the cage and back into range.
