And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Recker fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Khalidow fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Recker closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Recker is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Khalidow is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Recker tries for a kimura but Khalidow is defending well.
Khalidow is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Khalidow pushes Recker off looking to stand but Recker dives back in and keeps control.

Khalidow is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Recker has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Khalidow is tapping! This fight is all over!
