Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gudleifur Bjarnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haroldo Praca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Praca drops his hands momentarily and Bjarnson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Haroldo Praca has been cut.
Praca shoots in and drives through. Bjarnson sprawls well.

Praca looking to score a takedown here. Bjarnson is defending well but Praca drives through and ends up in Bjarnson 's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Praca drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Praca jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Praca is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Praca thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Praca trying to control but Bjarnson is working from the bottom.

Praca is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Bjarnson is working an open guard so Praca takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Bjarnson moves to clinch but Praca breaks away
and Praca counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bjarnson 's knee momentarily.
Praca feints and then cracks Bjarnson 's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bjarnson down.
Bjarnson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bjarnson is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Praca closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Praca has hold of Bjarnson 's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bjarnson tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Praca cranks the arm and Bjarnson screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bjarnson , who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
