Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Attack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Mclane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Attack has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Attack gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Mclane counters with a nice double leg into side control. Attack won't be happy with that.

Mclane wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Attack, who protects the arm well.

Mclane drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Attack manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mclane has Attack in his guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mclane working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Attack doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Attack manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Attack avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Attack will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Attack will probably get the nod.
