The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kroger throws a right and a left that both miss.
Vovchyn misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kroger connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Kroger scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Vovchyn throws a hook but Kroger avoids it easily.
Vovchyn fails with the takedown.
Vovchyn shoots for a double leg takedown but Kroger sprawls well. He's pushed Vovchyn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kroger slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Kroger uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vovchyn.
Vovchyn seems to have got his legs back now.
Kroger throws a series of punches but Vovchyn avoids them all with ease.
Vovchyn shoots in for a takedown but Kroger shows good takedown defense.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Kroger lands a big head kick that sends Vovchyn to the canvas! Kroger follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
