Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mao Zedong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doran Connell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zedong's entrance music is March Of The Volunteers . A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Connell's choice of entrance music: Rob Kelly - Rockstar. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Doran Connell!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connell throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Zedong lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Connell has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Connell and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Connell wants to clinch.

and Connell makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Zedong really felt that one!

Oooooh!!! Zedong has knocked Connell down with a huge combo! Zedong steps away and waves a wobbly Connell back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Doran Connell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zedong wobbles Connell with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Zedong dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Connell to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

In his post fight interview, Mao Zedong started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
